Forgotten former Liverpool star, 30, claims he was 'angry with himself' after he was stabbed in a watch robbery at a house party in 2020 - and admits his body hasn't been the same since

A forgotten former Liverpool star has admitted he is 'angry with himself' after being caught up in a watch robbery in 2020, which led to his body not being the same after being stabbed.

The former England under-21s captain worked his way through the Reds' youth system to make his senior club debut in the Europa League in September 2012.

While attending a house party in June 2020, after he'd moved to Derby County, the star was stabbed in a watch robbery in the Toxteth area of Liverpool, and was hospitalised as a result of the attack.
