CEDAR FALLS, Iowa --- UNI's Darta Dalecka and Issa Sullivan have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, as announced on Tuesday afternoon.
The honor recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom across four divisions --- NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District selections are automatically placed on the ballot for CSC All-America status. First, second and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced June 1.
Dalecka, a sophomore majoring in communications, posted a 10-20 singles record during the 2022-23 campaign, along with an 11-18 mark in doubles with her partner Lorena Cardoso.
